Beat Smoothie is the debut solo album by Guzzalina, aka Boston-based musician and producer Lisa Rocket, self-released under her own label, R0ck3t R3c0rds.
An indie, DIY, honktronica / nu-disco / nu-worldbeat, danceable melange of mixed-up samples, home studio recordings, and heartfelt lyrics sung in a voice that is often compared to Beth Orton’s.
